Beyond the famous beaches, Pipa hides spots that most tourists never reach. For explorers, these less-visited beaches offer preserved nature, silence and a sense of discovery worth the extra effort.
Praia de Cacimbinhas
One of the most preserved beaches on the Potigar coast, Cacimbinhas is about 3.8 km from the village. The waves are good for intermediate surfers, the sand is white and crowds are always far smaller than at the village beaches. Minimal facilities — bring water and food.
Praia do Lajao — Intermediate
A surf spot little visited by non-surfers, Lajao has consistent waves for intermediate surfers. Harder access — by buggy along the beach at low tide or via a hiking trail. Mixed sand-and-rock bottom requires more care when falling. Big advantage: far fewer people in the lineup.
Praia do Abacate — Advanced
Reserved for advanced surfers, Abacate has technical waves and restricted access. Not recommended without someone who knows the spot and solid open-ocean surfing experience.
Beaches Inside the Ecological Sanctuary
Inside the Sanctuary there are beaches accessible only through the forest trails — virtually untouched, very few people. Access requires a Sanctuary entrance ticket.
No Worries Hostel: 100m from the main strip, 10min from the best beaches.
