Pipa does not have its own airport, but getting there is simpler than it looks. Whether by car, bus or plane with transfer, the destination is worth every kilometer.

By Car from Natal

The most common route is from Natal via BR-101 South, then RN-003 toward Goianinha, continuing on local roads to Tibau do Sul and Pipa. Distance is approximately 85 km, travel time around 1h20 to 1h30. Google Maps works well for this route.

By Bus from Natal

Expresso Guanabara runs regular services from Natal's main bus terminal to Goianinha or Tibau do Sul. From there, take a mototaxi or taxi to Pipa (about 20 minutes). Tickets cost roughly R$25–40. Ideal if you are travelling without a car.

By Plane — Nearest Airport

The nearest airport is Governador Aloizio Alves International Airport (Sao Goncalo do Amarante — NAT), about 100 km from Pipa. From there you can rent a car, take a shared transfer (offered by local agencies for around R$80–120 per person) or book a private taxi.

From Other Cities

From Recife: approximately 280 km via BR-101 North — about 3h30 by car. From Joao Pessoa: about 220 km and 2h30 by car. Both cities have frequent flights to Natal.
